iPhone OS 3.2 beta 3 for developers

Apple released last night the third beta of the SDK for iPhone OS 3.2. It is now possible to develop universal applications, compatible with both the iPhone and iPad, thus allowing an application to get the maximum capacity of the terminal on which it operates.

Apart from other changes involving only the developers, the beta 3 has revealed some interesting news. The simulator of the iPad is integrated in the SDK and the developers to test their applications.

The SDK 3.2 beta 3 documentation indicates that the iPad finally uses the same family of graphics chips as the iPhone and iPod touch. Open GL ES will work the same way on every Apple touchscreen terminal.
